Prince William and Kate Middleton share sweet message with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they welcome first child
Prince William and Kate Middleton have shared a sweet message after the arrival of baby Sussex.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together yesterday (Monday 6th May).
After announcing the news to the world the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet post on their Sussex Royal Instagram page to reveal all of the details about the newest little royal.

Alongside a sweet photo that read, ‘It’s a boy! Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to announce the birth of their child,’ the new parents wrote: ‘We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019.
'Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.
‘More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.’

Naturally the post raked up millions of likes and comments in a matter of hours from royal fans across the world who wished to share their messages of congratulations.
And there was one particular message that didn’t go unnoticed.
Prince William and Kate Middleton took to their own Instagram page to share their excitement at meeting newest royal arrival.
To celebrate the newest member of their family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are parents themselves to Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, went on to share a sweet message of congratulations with the new royal parents.
Reposting the Sussexes’ announcement, Kate and William wrote on their own Kensington Royal Instagram account: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.’
They definitely share the world’s sentiments – hopefully it’s not too long until we all get a glimpse of baby Sussex!
