Prince William and Kate Middleton confirm they are teaming up with Mary Berry for a new TV programme – and it sounds epic
The Cambridges and Merry Berry are the iconic pairing we never knew we needed in our lives.
The legendary chef and much-loved royal couple are joining forces to cook up a storm in a brand new TV programme, airing on BBC One in a few weeks’ time.
A Berry Royal Christmas will see Mary Berry joined in the kitchen by Catherine and William – as well as former Bake Off star Nadiya Hussain – to cook up a storm together for a party thrown by William and Kate to thank staff and volunteers from the charities who work tirelessly over the Christmas period.
BBC One announced the news online earlier today, posting a sneak peak of Mary and the Cambridges in action, captioning the photo, ‘You’re invited to a very special Christmas party!

‘Mary Berry, William and Catherine in the same programme sounds like perfect TV,’ wrote another.
A third said, ‘Awk look at Mary. Looking beautiful. Can’t wait to see this.’
A source told HELLO!, "The Duke and Duchess were joined by Mary on several different engagements over the past couple of months and showed her some of the charities and patronages close to their hearts to explain a bit about why they do what they do.
“They wanted to show her why they care so much about these organisations and Mary comes up with ideas for recipes for the event."
Mary Berry seemed thrilled to be joining the Cambridges.
"I am honoured that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have invited me to join them on four of their royal charity engagements this Christmas," Mary said.
"It will be truly special to see the causes so close to their hearts, as well as to hear all about the amazing support these charities provide.
"The finale is a big Christmas party and I will be cooking up a feast for them to enjoy. A one-hour Christmas special not to be missed."
A Berry Royal Christmas airs Monday 16th December at 8.30pm on BBC One
