Prince Harry and Meghan Markle refer to baby Sussex for the first time and fans can't handle it
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have referred to baby Sussex for the first, sending royal fans into a frenzy.
It’s now only a matter of weeks – or days – until Harry and Meghan get to meet their bundle of joy, and excitement for the couple is building up.
While they have decided to keep the birth private, the royal pair have sent fans into a frenzy as they referred to their firstborn as Baby Sussex for the first time.
In a post on their new Instagram account to thank royal supporters for donating to charities as a gift to their baby, Harry and Meghan said: ‘Just one week ago, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex asked that you kindly consider supporting various organisations around the world in lieu of sending gifts for the upcoming arrival of their first born.
‘Not only did many of you lend your support, you took action.
‘Their Royal Highnesses wanted you to know the impact of your support – the direct effect your donation, energy, and action made! YOU chose to be part of the collective good, and you have made a real difference.
‘Whether a $5 donation, £1000 contribution, offering to volunteer, or spreading the word – you’ve played your part. And on behalf of The Duke and Duchess (and Baby Sussex), we thank you so much.’

After listing the support their chosen charities have received as a result of the fans’ donations, the couple added: ‘You made this happen. Thank you.’
While many royal supporters commented to say how great it was that they raised so much money, others couldn’t quite handle the mention of Baby Sussex.
One said: ‘Like they literally know that we’ve nicknamed him/her Baby Sussex. My heart. ’
Another wrote: ‘The “And baby Sussex” part 😭😭'.
A third added: ‘"On behalf of the Duke and Duchess (and Baby Sussex)” I am literally about to cry. Sweetest thing ever. ’.
Not long now until Baby Sussex is here…
