Prince Harry tells little boy who is grieving loss of his mum ‘life will always be alright’
So adorable!
Prince Harry comforted a grieving little boy during the royal tour in New Zealand and told him not to worry.
Prince Harry has always been very open about how the loss of his mother Princess Diana affected his childhood.
He’s spoken extensively about his own mental health and has dedicated lots of attention to raising awareness and encouraging other people to speak about their own emotions and getting help when it is needed.
During Prince Harry and pregnant Meghan’s first official royal tour as a married couple they’ve shared lots of adorable moments with children who have enthusiastically embraced or interacted with the couple.

But Prince Harry’s most recent interaction with a six-year-old in New Zealand, the final leg of their tour, might just be the most heart-warming moment yet.
During a walkabout in Auckland Harry spent several minutes comforting little Otia Nante who was in the crowd with his nan, 52-year-old Te Nante.

Otia revealed that he had lost his mother when he was one-years-old and Prince Harry immediately offered him some advice and reassurance that life will still be okay without her.
He said: ‘Life will always be alright, you know that? I’ve made it to 34-years-old and life is great. I have a beautiful wife and a baby on the way. Your life is going to be sorted, don’t you worry about that.’
Prince Harry also had a few words of comfort for Otia’s nan and praised her for raising her grandson after the loss of her daughter.
He said: ‘You’re doing a great job nan. Nans are so important in our lives.’
Prince Harry and Prince William are famously very close to their grandmother, the Queen. When Diana tragically died in 1997, the Queen sheltered her grieving grandchildren from the press by letting them stay at the Balmoral estate in Scotland.
