Pregnant Kate Middleton shows no sign of slowing down weeks before her due date as she hosts important symposium solo

Pregnant Kate Middleton may be due to give birth in just a matter of weeks, but that hasn’t stopped the Duchess from stepping out for one of her biggest and most important solo events to date.
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge is hosting a symposium on early intervention with the Royal Foundation, which is the charity set up by Prince William and Prince Harry that Kate is a part of and Meghan Markle has now also joined ahead of her wedding May wedding.
The important symposium, which a very pregnant Kate Middleton is hosting alone today without Prince William, is a conference which the Duchess has helped to organise in order to discuss how best to provide 'social and emotional support for children in their early years.'
The subject of children’s mental health and emotional support has been a long time focus for the Duchess of Cambridge since she joined the royal family. Kate has launched numerous mental health projects and initiatives for children, as well as being a patron of charities and organisations such as Pace2Be, Action for Children and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
In her official biography on the Royal Family website, it affirms, 'The Duchess of Cambridge is a committed champion of issues related to children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.' Showing no signs of slowing down as her due date rapidly approaches, the Duchess of Cambridge has today helped to bring together academics, researchers, practitioners, educators and charities for a huge symposium in central London, 'to discuss perinatal, maternal and infant mental health; parenting support; and resources for schools.'
The hugely important symposium is taking place at The Royal Society of Medicine. Arriving at the event in Paddington, a glowing pregnant Kate Middleton looked radiant in spring-ready green ensemble. The Duchess of Cambridge’s bespoke green coat by designer Jenny Packham just about covered her growing baby bump.
The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her third child in April.
