Natalie Imbruglia welcomes first child after IVF treatment
Natalie Imbruglia has welcomed her first child.
The singer-songwriter took to her social media to announce the exciting news that she has welcomed her first child – and she even revealed the little one’s adorable name.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Australian musician shared a sweet picture with her 322,000 of her newborn baby son holding her thumb, with his whole tiny hand wrapped around her finger.
Sharing her son’s name with her thousands of fans, the Torn hitmaker captioned her snap, ‘Welcome to the world..Max Valentine Imbruglia 💙’.
The gushing mum added, ‘My heart is bursting 🥰🥰🥰 #myboy’.
Fans and friends rushed to congratulate the new mum, with the post quickly raking up a ton of comments and nearly 50,000 likes.
And of course, there was a host of famous faces who appeared in the comments section.

Singers Louise Redknapp and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who recently welcomed her fifth child, also commented, adding, ‘Congratulations babe so happy for you xxxxx’ and ‘Yay!!! Hello, max! Welcome indeed. So glad you’re here safe and sound. Congratulations, mama!! 😘😘’.
The new little one is the first child for the 44-year-old, who revealed her pregnancy back in July.
When she made her sweet announcement via her Instagram page, Natalie revealed that she had become pregnant through using a sperm donor and going through the IVF process.

‘I’m expecting my first child this Autumn,’ she wrote in an Instagram post, alongside a surprise photo reveal in a series of swipe-through snaps.
‘For those of you that know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time,’ she continued, before revealing the process she had used to become pregnant.
‘I’m blessed that this is possible with the help of IVF and a sperm donor,’ she wrote, adding, ‘I’m so excited about this next adventure.’
Naturally, the post gained thousands of likes, with friends and fans congratulating the star and followers thanking her for opening up about the IVF process.
