Meghan Markle wears sweet necklace in tribute to son Archie as she attends Wimbledon
Meghan Markle wore a sweet tribute to son Archie as she attended Wimbledon.
The Duchess of Sussex, who welcomed son Archie Harrison with husband Prince Harry at the beginning of May, stepped out in the public eye earlier this week for only the third time since giving birth to her two-month-old son.
The 37-year-old made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon yesterday where she sat and enjoyed watching the tennis tournament while cheering on close friend Serena Williams, who was responsible for throwing the Duchess’s lavish New York baby shower back in February.
Stepping out in a stylish but understated outfit, Meghan finished off her casual look with a sweet tribute to baby Archie.
She wore around her neck a delicate necklace branding the initial ‘A’, an adorable nod to her newborn son.
Meghan was joined at the match by a pair of university friends, who are likely over in the UK to attend baby Archie’s christening, which takes place this weekend.
It was confirmed earlier this week that the newest little royal’s christening ceremony will be taking place tomorrow in Windsor Castle’s St George’s Chapel.

This location holds a special significance for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as it is the same chapel where the couple tied the knot last May.
St George’s Chapel is also where Prince Harry was christened back in 1984 when he was only three-months-old and was also the location for another royal wedding – that of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
While royal fans are hoping to get a glimpse of little Archie when the pair release official photos of the little one’s christening, they will be disappointed to know that certain aspects of the occasion will be kept under wraps.
The Duke and Duchess have decided not to release details of the godparents they have chosen for little Archie.

However, many are convinced that Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney could be in the running for godmother, while close friend of the royals Charlie Van Straubenzee could be in with a shot as godfather.
Whoever is chosen, we just can’t wait to catch a glimpse of the adorable royal baby!
