Matalan is selling a unicorn raincoat for kids – and it changes colour when it gets wet
Now that we’re nearing the end of February it feels like Spring may almost be on its way.
But regardless of the sunnier mornings, lighter evenings and current lack of frosted car windscreens, we can never quite rely on British weather to go with the flow of the seasons.
For all we know, there could be another Beast from the East on the horizon for March if last year is anything to go by.
And of course, we’ll never get through any season of the year without a shower or two.
Which means a reliable raincoat has to be a signature part of every Brit’s wardrobe – even the little ones.
Well now one store has come up with a way to add a little bit of sparkle and fun into those dismal rainy days.
High-street store Matalan is selling a playful raincoat for kids that comes with everyone’s favourite magical creature – the unicorn – printed all over it.

But having already been treated to unicorn milk, unicorn birthday cake, unicorn trinkets and even unicorn turkey nuggets by a number of different retailers, we’re now getting an extra bit of magic with this new wardrobe offering.
The white unicorns and stars print on Matalan’s kids’ raincoat changes colour when it gets wet!
So when your little one wears it out, as soon as the heavens open, they’ll be treated to the magical vision of the decoration on their raincoat changing from white to pink.
The showerproof coat comes with soft lining for added warmth, a big hood and two functional pockets.
Unfortunately for us older kids at heart, the coat is only available in sizes four-13 years.
Prices start from £16 (currently on sale at £11.20) to £20 (currently on sale at £14), but at the moment the magical jacket is sold out online!
You may be able to still get one in your local store, but if not keep an eye on the site to see when they restock!
We’re just waiting for them to add this to their adults’ range…
