And, even pop legend Madonna has complained of losing the bond with her children, Lourdes and Rocco, after they starting using smartphone technology.
Since, she has made the decision not to give her 13-year-old son, David, a phone, after the relationship with her two eldest children was affected.
The 60-year-old mum-of-six in a recent interview with Vogue magazine said: 'I made a mistake when I gave my older children phones when they were 13.'
She added: 'It ended my relationship with [my children], really. Not completely, but it became a very, very big part of their lives. They became too inundated with imagery and started to compare themselves to other people, and that’s really bad for self-growth.'
