'Ridiculous' Fans slam Kylie Jenner’s lavish birthday party for her one-year-old daughter Stormi
Kylie Jenner threw her daughter Stormi, who recently turned one, an epic birthday bash but the celebration has sparked debate among her fans.
The 21-year-old welcomed her first child last year with rapper Travis Scott, and when it came to commemorate her first birthday, she spared no expense.
Sharing pictures of the party on social media, the mum-of-one revealed she drew her own vision for the theme park-inspired party herself - taking inspiration from Travis’ Astroworld album and tour - before it was made into reality.
She wrote on Instagram, alongside snaps of Stormi World: ‘dreamed about this party and then drew it up on paper room by room and @mindyweiss really made my vision come to life!!! thank you Mindy and team! this party was magical ✨🎡♥️’.
The entrance to the party was a inflatable baby head – which was meant to resemble the birthday girl herself – and inside guests could enjoy what seemed like a butterfly rainbow forest, cloud-themed playroom with a ball pit, giant teddies and a lollipop-themed fairground ride.
The highlight for most little ones in attendance – including Stormi - seemed to be the live performance of baby mega-hit ‘Baby Shark’.
Responding to the epic party, fans of the star took to social media to say how they thought it was bit unsettling to the see the baby’s face in the balloon.

One said: ‘The blow up baby was a little unsettling Who even makes these? How much would a custom made blow up baby cost I wonder? #StormiWorld.'
Another joked: ‘American horror story: stormi show.'
Others also criticised the fact that the beauty mogul must have spent a fortune of her baby’s first birthday, which she is likely to not remember when she’s older.
One tweeted: ‘Kylie Jenner’s birthday party for Stormi is wayyyyy too much even for the Kardashians. Like ridiculous. There are people starving and dying in the world and you’ve created a theme park in a warehouse for a one year olds party.’
However, not everyone was criticising the reality TV star for the extravagant party.
One joked: ‘The next time my husband tells me to "slow down, it's only a children's party" I'm sending him to watch Kylie's Instagram sorry. #StormiWorld.'
Another said: ‘I dont get why ppl are upset it’s their money they can spend it how they want it doesn’t have to be justifiable and its no ones business really #StormiWorld.'
