Kate Middleton and Prince William spotted doing something they rarely do in public
Kate Middleton and Prince have been spotted doing something they are rarely seen doing during official events - public displays of affection.
- The royal duo attended an event ahead of their tour to Pakistan, and were spotted being unusually affectionate towards each other.
- Despite being happily married and having three children together, William and Kate rarely have public displays of affection.
- This follows royal news that Princess Charlotte can handle spice a lot better than dad William!
We’ve grown used to seeing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hold hands often, but William and Kate have always been more reserved when it comes to PDAs.
However, love must be in the air as they were spotted being a lot more cosy with each during an event to meet the Aga Khan in London.
In a short clip shared by royal reporter Richard Palmer, Kate is seen gently touching William’s arm while he’s speaking to other attendees.
In another picture of the royal pair arriving at King’s Cross for the event, William is also spotted putting his hand on Kate’s back – how adorable!
Despite being unusual for the future King and Queen of the United Kingdom, the move does not actually break royal protocol.

Etiquette expert Myka Meier previously told People magazine: “Senior members of the royal family would likely not be told how to interact or when they can or cannot show PDA and would be trusted to use their better judgement as to when it’s appropriate.
“The royals often adjust PDA to mirror the formality of the event they are attending.
“At a sombre or more formal event, we are less likely to see PDA than at a casual event where it would be deemed more fitting."
Kate and Wills will soon be heading to Pakistan on a four day royal tour, without their three little ones.
Their trip follows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official visit to South Africa, with little Archie.
