Kate Middleton missed a big family milestone because of Pakistan royal tour
Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived in Pakistan on Monday evening, but unfortunately the Duchess missed a big milestone back home - her nephew's first birthday.
- The royal couple are currently touring Pakistan until Friday October 18th.
- But Kate Middleton has sadly missed her nephew’s first birthday as she’s on tour.
- This follows royal news that fans were in tears with Prince William’s heartbreaking reply to school children who said they’re ‘big fans’ of Princess Diana.
Kate and Wills are spending the week away from their three little ones due to their royal duties, and the timing of the trip has meant they have missed Pippa Middleton's son's first birthday on Tuesday 15th.
He is the only son of Kate’s younger sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews, and Kate and William's first nephew - followed closely by little Archie.

First birthdays are an important event for any family, but even more so for Middleton family and Kate especially because of their party planning business called Party Pieces.
Carole Middleton previously revealed that Kate took charge of the First Birthday Brand, which helped their business to grow over the years.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping magazine at the time, she said, “My children have all worked for the business. Catherine started the First Birthday brand – she chose the products and looked after all the imagery and the catalogue production.”

Whilst the Cambridges are in Pakistan, it’s thought that Carole and Michael Middleton will be caring for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - alongside the couple’s royal nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo - so the cousins probably celebrated cousin's Arthur birthday in their parents' absence.
