The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed out earlier this week to take part in the King’s Cup royal regatta race, which saw the pair participate in a yachting competition.
For a true race, both royals skippered their own yachts, competing against six celebrity captains as the eight boats raced towards the King’s Cup.
Prince William raced on behalf of his patronage Child Bereavement UK, while Duchess Kate led her team for the Royal Foundation.
However, unfortunately neither royal were first to the finish line.
While the iconic race saw the Duke of Cambridge’s team finish in joint third place, the Duchess was hit with a more significant loss when her team finished in last place.
But for her efforts, the mum-of-three was hilariously awarded with a wooden spoon!
