Kate Mara and Jamie Bell welcome first child together
Kate Mara has announced that she’s welcomed her first child with husband Jamie Bell.
The new mum shared the lovely news on Instagram that they had welcomed a little girl, alongside an adorable snap of her baby’s feet.
For now, the couple haven’t revealed what baby name they’ve picked, but Kate wrote alongside the picture: ‘We had a baby a couple weeks ago... Here are her feet 💕’.
Fans of the couple were quick to send their congratulatory messages, with one saying: ‘Congratulations! This is beyond precious 💕’.
Another wrote: ‘Awww Angel!!!!! Congrats beautiful Mama enjoy all the snuggly love 💕💕💕’.
The couple revealed they were expecting a bundle of joy last February, after attending the Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation Oscars Party.
Her bump was very visible, so Kate made the news official on social media saying: ‘Went on a date with our bun in the oven.’

This is Kate’s first child, but Jamie already shares five-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood.
The pair met back in 2015 when they both starred in Fantastic Four, and got engaged two years later. Kate and Jamie also tied the knot that same year, in 2017.
Last year, Kate opened up about her relationship with Jamie, saying they have a rule to make sure their relationship stays strong despite all the travelling they have to do for work.
She told Shape magazine: ‘I love knowing that I have a partner for life. I feel very proud to call Jamie my husband and to have made that commitment to him.
‘All the travelling we both have to do for work can make it hard. But we have a rule that we will never go longer than two weeks without seeing each other. Even if we have to spend all day travelling to have just 24 hours together, it’s worth it in order to have a strong relationship.’
