Kara Tointon reveals the birth of first child with fiancé Marius Jensen
Kara Tointon and Marius Jensen ‘couldn’t be happier’ with the newest member of their family.
Congratulations are in order for ex-EastEnders star Kara Tointon, who has given birth to her first child - a baby boy.
The actress and her partner Marius Jensen revealed two lots of very exciting news in October this year. The pair not only announced their engagement but also that they were expecting their first child.
And, just a month later the happy couple confirmed the exciting news of their new arrival to Hello! magazine. Proud dad Marius said: 'On Thursday at 11.04am, 3.2 kilos (7lbs) of happiness joined our lives.'
He went on to add: 'Kara and I couldn't be happier and our four legged companions Elfie and Winston have been guarding our new family member since.'
The actress previously shared the couple were looking forward to the responsibilities that come with parenthood.
Speaking to Hello! magazine Kara Tointon she said: 'It is the biggest life-changing moment when you have this little human being coming into your life that you are yet to meet.

'I can't wait for motherhood and all the challenges it will bring.'
The 35-year-old went on to talk about her chiropractor fiancé: 'For me it was always about meeting the person that you know is the one you want to share this experience with.'
Marius proposed to 2010 Strictly Come Dancing winner Kara back in March with a vintage ruby-and-diamond Bavarian engagement ring.
Recalling the day of the proposal Kara said: 'We were having a lie-in and I had no idea he was planning to propose.
'It was so perfect as I am not someone who likes big moments, and it was just very Marius. He says it as he feels it. It was very lovely, very relaxed.'
The happy couple first met two years ago after being set up by mutual friends.
