Julia Goulding is expecting first child with husband Ben Silver.
The Coronation Street actress, who has played Shona Ramsey on the popular ITV soap since 2016, took to social media to announce the exciting news.
Taking to Instagram to share the news with her 83,000 followers, Julia uploaded a sweet photo of her and husband Ben with their hands all over each other and a big smile on each their faces.
In her caption she revealed the news, writing: ‘Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year!
‘We are absolutely overjoyed and can’t wait to meet our little one! ❤❤❤ #newarrival #babysilver’
Fans and acquaintances took to the comments section of the post to congratulate the pair on their news.
‘Congratulations Julia,’ wrote one follower. ‘Kids are an absolute game-change, for the better! Exciting stuff x’

Coronation Street legend Jack P Shepherd also added a series of heart and kiss emojis.
This will be the first baby for Julia and Ben, who tied the knot back in February.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the 34-year-old revealed that she and her other half broke tradition and walked down the aisle hand-in-hand.
‘It was important for us to walk down the aisle together and my parents aren’t traditional,’ she said.
‘My dad didn’t mind not giving me away as he believes I’m my own person. I can totally understand why people do it, but the way we did it felt right for Ben and I.’
