Joe Swash forced to deny he announced his and Stacey’s baby’s gender
Joe Swash has been forced to deny that he made a big announcement about the baby he’s expecting with Stacey Solomon.
The TV presenter, who will be welcoming his first child with girlfriend Stacey later this year, caused a frenzy among fans when he posted a video on social media.
Alongside the video, he wrote: ‘YEEEEER BOY!!!!!!!’ – which fans assumed meant he was announcing Stacey is carrying a baby boy.
Many fans took to the comments t congratulate them, with one saying: ‘Awww as long as it’s healthy that’s all that matters’.
Another said: ‘YAY !!!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Wonderful news @realjoeswashy @staceysolomon sending big huge hugs to you both xxxx’
However, it was all a misunderstanding, as Joe posted the clip to show him celebrating Arsenal scoring against Tottenham in the North London derby on Saturday.
After so many fans mistaking his video for a baby gender announcement, he was forced to deny that he had spilled the beans.

He wrote: ‘Just so you know I didn't announce the gender of mine and Stacey's baby. I was actually saying 'yeah boy' as Arsenal had scored.
‘Just to get that straight as she would kill me.’
The pair - who both already have children from previous relationships - announced last month that they are expecting their first child together.
Sharing three pictures of Stacey sleeping, Joe wrote: ‘Have been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company... So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.
‘I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news. We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child. It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now.
Stacey also announced the happy news on her own Instagram page with a picture of the baby scan, saying: ‘Every time I go to write anything I sob so... what he said @realjoeswashy 💜’.
