Jennifer Garner shares hilarious note from her daughter that all mums can relate to
Actress Jennifer Garner has shared a hilarious note from her daughter that we’re sure all mums will be able to relate to.
The mum-of-three took to Instagram to share the note written by her nine-year-old daughter Seraphina.
Scribbled in blue marker, the scathing note read ‘When I grow up, I want to be a fun-killing mom, just like you!’
46-year-old Jennifer, who shares her children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, decided to make light of the angry message, writing: ‘Is this a nine year old burn? Or the ultimate compliment? #funkillingmom #illtakealovenotehoweveritcomes’.
Mums of Instagram found the note hilarious, sharing their own personal stories of similar situations.
‘Girl! That’s what my daughter tells me! “Mom, you’re where fun goes to die”’, commented one, ‘I got “my mom loves to nap every day” / so I think your compliment is perfect’, wrote another.
Many agreed that that was a sign of a good mum, writing: ‘Aw, you’re not really a Mom until you’ve killed all the fun’, ‘That just means you are doing your job as a mom!’, ‘Fun killing moms are the best!’ and ‘Arent we all?!’.

And one even had an amusing idea about how the 13 Going On 30 actress could get her daughter to understand the plight of all mums, writing: ‘Please save that note and give it to her when she’s expecting her first child!’
However, the Alias star, who recently opened up about the unusual way she found out she was pregnant, seems far from a ‘fun-killing’ mum, as she revealed last year that she celebrates ‘Yes Day’ with her children.
The Valentine’s Day star, who is also mum to 12-year-old Violet and 6-year-old Samuel, took to Instagram to share a snap of her trying to get through the fiction-inspired ‘Yes Day’ that sees parents give their little ones an entire day when they won’t tell them ‘no’.
Understandably, the Mother’s Day actress was fuelling herself up with coffee after a night of sleeping in a tent out in the garden.
Seems she was more back-killing than ‘fun-killing’ that day!
But as with most parenting trials and tribulations, we’re sure by the time it comes to writing Christmas present lists, that note will be old news.
