Holly Willoughby sadly reveals her grandmother has passed away
Holly Willoughby has taken to Instagram with an emotional post to pay homage to her grandmother, who has sadly passed.
The mum-of-three shared a sweet selfie of her with her nan, where the two of them can be seen smiling to the camera.
Alongside the snap, the TV presenter wrote: ‘Today we say goodbye for a little while to my beautiful Nan... go and be with Grandad... he’s been waiting for you... love you... miss you... 💕.’

The This Morning presenter warned fans yesterday that she wouldn’t be on today’s show - instead being replaced by Rylan – but she didn’t say why.
However, today Phillip Schofield told viewers about the sad news live on air, explaining that Holly was attending her grandmother’s funeral.
He said: ‘Sadly Holly's not here today, it's her nan's funeral and we're sending lots and lots of love to the family, especially to Holly's mum Lynn.’
Holly had previously posted pictures of her grandmother, showing just how close they were. Back in August, the mum shared a picture of her nan celebrating her 90th birthday, writing: ‘Yes Nanna Willoughby... 90 today! Love ya! ❤️’.
Back in Christmas 2017, she also posted about the fun times she had with mum and nan. Alongside another adorable selfie, she wrote: ‘And the chief girl of the family... my nan! #family #grandma ❤️’
Our thoughts are with Holly, her mum Lynn and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
