Geordie Shore’s Chantelle Connelly has given birth without knowing after an emergency C-section.
Former Geordie Shore star Chantelle Connelly has welcomed her first child, but does not yet know that he has been born.
The 29-year-old had to undergo an emergency C-section where she had to be put under sedation for her surgery, meaning that she gave birth to her baby boy without knowing that he had been born.
The reality star’s mum Allison Connelly took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news that her grandson had arrived in the world and to assure fans that her daughter was doing well.
On Tuesday morning the new grandmother uploaded an image to her Instagram page to show that she was at the Newcastle Birthing Centre with her daughter, captioning the snap: ‘Chantelle in labour. Baby b here soon today. Can’t wait’.
She later uploaded a post revealing that the little one had been born but that Chantelle was still asleep from the surgery.
‘My beautiful grandson born 6 minutes past 6,’ wrote the proud grandmother, ‘weighs 6lb 6oz.

‘Chantelle doesn’t know he’s here yet had an emergency section she is still in theatre they had to put her to sleep she wl wake up to this beautiful little bundle’.
The excited grandma went on to post another snap showing the little one holding her finger.
‘To all you lovely people thank you for the lovely comments,’ she captioned the sweet picture.
‘My daughter was rushed into theatre and put to sleep just 5 minutes after she was given the epidural b 4 she went into theatre,’ she continued.
Allison added that before her daughter went in for the surgery she had asked her to announce the little one’s birth as soon as she knew he was okay and healthy.
This is first child for Chantelle who has welcomed her baby boy with partner of a year and a half Lee Blackburn.
