Doting dad took six flights so he could be with his flight attendant daughter over Christmas
Hal Vaughan booked multiple flights so he could spend time with his daughter as she worked during the festive season.
A father has become an internet sensation after he was pictured flying on a Christmas Eve flight to Detroit so he could be with his daughter over the holidays.
Hal Vaughan, whose daughter is a flight-attendant for Delta airlines, used his airline benefits and booked up to six separate flights so that she could spend Christmas with her family - even while she was working.
A fellow Ohio passenger, Mike Levy, caught wind of the adorable gesture when he was sat next to Vaughan on a Delta flight from Fort Myers to Detroit.
Mr Levy took a photo of them sitting beside one another on the plane, and posted it to Facebook to spread news of the heartwarming gesture.
The post, which has received 194,000 likes and has been shared as many as 38,000 times, also features a photo of Vaughan's daughter, Pierce, alongside the photo of the two men on board the flight.
