Little Jacob is the second son for the singer-songwriter and her hockey player husband, who announced that they were expecting a little one back in August, after they welcomed three-year-old Isaiah Michael Fisher back in 2015.
The 35-year-old, who recently sparked debate for saying she felt too old to have a big family, made the surprise announcement on her Instagram page in a promotion video for her upcoming tour and album.
‘You might be wondering or asking ‘Carrie why is your tour starting in May’. Well…,’ she said.
The video then zooms out to reveal a balloon display spelling out the word ‘baby’.
‘Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond,’ she continued.
‘This has just been a dream come true with the album and baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited and glad you guys can share this with us and be a part of it. Love you guys. We will see you on the road in 2019!’
