Diversity's Ashley Banjo announces he's expecting first child with wife Francesca
Ashley Banjo, one of the stars of Diversity, has announced he's going to become a dad very soon.
The 30-year-old shared the exciting baby news with fans on social media, alongside a picture of him and his wife Francesca.
In the heartfelt message he posted, the dancer explained how it was a 'difficult' journey for them, but now they are overjoyed to be expecting their first child together.
He wrote: 'I am so excited to finally share the news that we are having a baby!! Now the time has come to finally say this out loud I have no idea what to say! I don’t know if words alone can explain how full of joy and happiness we both are.'
The Dancing on Ice host also revealed the gender of their first baby - and it's a baby girl!
'It has been a more difficult journey to this point than most people know but we are now here with one of the most precious gifts in the world... A little girl!
'I have so many strong and incredible women around me, I know she will have great examples to follow. Especially this woman right here - my wife and my rock.

'You are going to be the best mum in the world. I’m so excited to see our little one grow up and if by any chance she wanted to be like her daddy and bust a few moves, I’ve already got the dancing shoes covered! Can’t wait to meet you little sweetie'.
Fans were quick to comment on the post to send their lovely wishes, with one saying: 'Awww 💖💖💝 Congratulations to you both'.
Another commented: 'That’s amazing news, so excited for you both'.
It's been an amazing year for the Banjo family this year on the baby front, as Ashley's brother Jordan has also become a dad just a few months ago.
He welcomed his first child with his girlfriend Naomi Courts back in May, and named the little boy Cassius Ashley Banjo - a tribute to his brother.
Fellow Diversity member Warren Russell will also become a dad very soon, as he announced in July that his wife Jade was pregnant with their first child.
Congratulations to Ashley and Francesca!
