Archie Harrison’s godparents: Who is in the running to become the royal baby’s godparents?
Archie Harrison’s godparents could include some very famous A-listers.
Archie Harrison is set to be christened this weekend, and while we know most of the details about the upcoming occasion, one thing that has not yet been revealed is who the newest royal’s godparents will be.
Fans have been desperate for any info on the latest royal baby since he arrived back at the start of May.
And, since being given a glimpse of the newborn when his proud parents presented him at Windsor when he was just a couple of days old, royal fans couldn’t wait for another word on the little one.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have picked St George’s Chapel in Windsor for the special ceremony, as it is the same place where the couple tied the knot last May.
And, while the guest list is expected to be made up of a mixture of the royal family and the pair’s close friends, royal followers have all been wondering one thing – who Archie’s godparents will be.
Well, according to Ladbrokes bookmakers there are a few close pals who could make the cut.

Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has topped the bookies’ list for godmother, with Ladbrokes odds at 1/7.
The Canadian stylist is thought to be the first person Meghan told about her pregnancy and her three children were pageboys and a flower girl at the couple’s nuptials last year.
Another person considered likely to take on the important role is Prince Harry’s best friend Charlie Van Straubenzee, whose wedding the Duke and Duchess attended last summer, with odds of 1/5 by bookies.
The British businessman has been a close friend to Prince Harry and Prince William since childhood and made a speech at the Sussexes’ wedding last year.
‘Jessica Mulroney and Charlie Van Straubenzee are seemingly nailed on to be Archie’s Godparents,’ said Alex Apati of Ladbrokes. ‘But we wouldn’t be surprised to see some famous faces given the honour.’

The Duke and Duchess are also close friends with A-listers George and Amal Clooney, while Meghan’s lavish New York baby shower back in February was planned by tennis ace Serena Williams, so we could see one of these well-known figures being given the honour.
Whoever lands the role, they’re sure to have the cutest godson on the block.
We just wish we could volunteer!
