Couple who met on The Apprentice welcome the show’s first baby

Two stars of the 2017 season of The Apprentice have welcomed their first child together – a bouncing baby boy.

Michaela Wain and Harrison Jones – who met on the TV reality contest for budding entrepreneurs – took to Instagram to announce the happy news.

Sharing a series of heart-melting snaps of the couple and their bundle of joy in hospital Michaela wrote:

‘It’s been a tough ride but I’m super happy to say Grayson George Jones arrives 23/10/18 weighing 7lb2 and looking like a heart breaker.

‘Absolutely in love. And a huge big massive thank you to his amazing dad @harrisonjones89who was the best birthing partner ever. Officially the most chilled guy on the planet #mumandson #babyboy#theapprentice #loveofmylife’

The post has attracted more than 7,000 likes and fans of the show were quick to congratulate the pair.

One wrote: ‘Congratulations to you both on the birth of your beautiful baby boy, all the best for the future.’

While another added: ‘Congratulations both!! Welcome to the world little man xxxx’

The couple first made the announcement that they were expecting in June.

Speaking to The Sun in July Michaela – who is already has a son Harrison – revealed her joy at becoming a mum for the second time saying she was ‘very happy’.

Michaela has been chronicling her pregnancy journey via her Instagram, sharing pictures of her growing bump and video of her baby shower last month.

Thanking her nearest and dearest for the special day she wrote:

‘A few from my baby shower. Amazing day. Thanks everyone who came. And thanks for all the gifts. He’s a lucky little boy and thanks to the amazing @lovelaneevents foe dressing the room so beautifully. Really was amazing #babyshower #girlsonly#lovelyday’

Michaela and Harrison are thought to have become an item after the last year’s series came to an end and now run a business together in the construction industry.
