Break away from your normal routine and try something new! Rocky Chocolate Biscuits are challenging you to 'Rock it up to the next level'. So we've come up with some family-friendly experiences to get you and your family outdoors doing something energetic and fun!
Take the family on an escapade like you've never been on before with one of these great days out - they're guaranteed to make you feel exhilarated and we bet you'll be amazed at what you can do.
Paintballing
It's guaranteed to make you shriek with laughter and run like the wind! Shooting at each other might not be a traditional family activity, but for the adventurous among us, it's a great way to spend a day.
Cost: From as little as £13 per person for a day's paintballing with 100 free paintballs.
Climbing
Put your strength and endurance to the test by trying your hand at climbing - we bet you'll be surprised by how much you enjoy it.
Cost: You can get a taster session for 4 at a climbing wall for about £50, or if you go to Alton Towers Resort between 10th-15th April you can have a go at climbing the world's first chocolate-based climbing wall!
Canoeing or kayaking
For the water babies among us, canoeing or kayaking will be right up your street (or should we say river?). Who cares if you get a little bit wet, you'll see some great views, get a good work out and have a good old splash around.

Cost: You can book taster kayaking days (with all the equipment you need provided) for around £130 a day for a family of 4.
Hiking
It's a great way to explore the British countryside, get lots of fresh air and really stretch those legs! Once you've given hiking a good go, you can go on little mini hiking breaks on weekends and during school holidays. What about setting your sights on a goal and attempting Mt Snowdon?!
Cost: No cost, except for your equipment (comfortable clothing and footwear). It might be a good idea to buy a book with walks and maps included, or download them from the internet!
Zip-lining
How brave are you? Brave enough to climb a ladder up a tree or tower and then fly down on a zip wire? We promise there's no feeling in the world like whizzing down a wire.
Cost: Zip-lining courses cost from around £10 per person, with all equipment provided.
Go Karting
Any fans of Top Gear will absolutely love a trip Go Karting. It's bound to introduce some family competitiveness and some great memories too!
Cost: A half hour session will cost around £30 for adults and £15 for under 16s.
Top tips to enjoy your adventures
* Keep hydrated and well fed: Being hungry or thirsty makes everyone grumpy! Carry bottles of water or squash and snacks like fruit, flapjack and little chocolate treats. We love Rocky Chocolate Biscuits - they're already a favourite in lunchboxes and they're great for a quick energy boost! Try one of their 4 flavours - chocolate, caramel, crispy crunch and fizzy cola.
* Entertainment for the car journey: It might sound silly, but if you're driving a long way to get somewhere, think about what you'll do to keep the kids occupied in the car.
* Pack your camera: You want to capture these moments, so get your camera and get snapping.
* Try new things! It's only an adventure if it's new and exciting. So be brave and try something different
