Emma Willis reveals why she and husband decided to have their third child
She welcomed daughter Trixie Grace in 2016
Emma Willis has opened up about why she and husband Matt decided to have their third child.
The celeb mum shares three children with her husband of ten years, Matt, but having a third child was a decision that was actually inspired by her own mum.
Speaking to Red magazine, she said: 'I was copying my mum. She had my sister at 40 and it was her third. I always thought if I had a third, maybe I’d do it when I was 40.'
When the TV presenter got to 40-years-old, her life and body were just starting to get back to normal so she considered waiting a bit longer, but then she thought 'it’s now or never'.
She explained: 'Then I got to 40 and felt like I had a little bit of time to myself again, we were sleeping, I’d got my body back to normal for the first time in years… but then I thought it’s now or never. I didn’t want to look back and regret it.'
She has since confessed that daughter Trixie Grace was her last and she's not planning to have any more children. She said last year on Loose Women: 'She has just slotted in but because I know this is my last.
'I’m taking every single little bit in because I know I won’t do it again.'

The mum-of-three is about to star in a new midwife documentary, which she's said is allowing her to live out one of her 'dreams' - so much so that she confessed she would become a midwife if she didn't have a career in showbiz.
‘Honestly, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. I love it. If it all went tits up, I’d happily just do this instead', Emma said.
As both of her parents worked in Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham, she said she was used to those sort of environments.
‘I grew up in an environment where you did jobs like that. And then I found myself being a model, which was a bit weird,’ Emma said.
Gushing about her husband, Emma said he feels like 'home' to her: 'I still fancy him to bits and he makes me laugh. I suppose the best way I can describe it is that he is home to me.
'When I’m with him I feel I’m home, wherever we are.'
