This new interactive day out is a MUST for all families with young dinosaur fans

Travel back in time to explore the world of dinosaurs with Dinosaurs in the Wild!

If you've got a little one who loves all things dinosaur themed, they will love the new interactive experience about to hit the UK - Dinosaurs in the Wild.

Dinosaurs in the Wild will transport you back 67 million years so that you can experience what it really might have been like to be around dinosaurs.

The interactive experience is based in Greenwich, London and takes place in a specially designed multi-million pound venue. You should think of it as the ultimate safari adventure, except instead of seeing zebras and lions - you get to see dinosaurs!

The experience revolves a tour which you will be taken on by a guide on the ultimate journey of discovery to TimeBase 67, a research centre where scientists study living dinosaurs.

You get to join a dinosaur autopsy, drive through herds of dangerous dinosaurs and even watch babies hatching from their eggs. The whole experience is roughly 70 minutes long and makes a brilliant family day out.

Dinosaurs in the Wild is located on the Greenwich Peninsula, just a few minutes walk from North Greenwich Underground station. The experience is running until 31 July 2018 so you've got plenty of time to book a trip.

Family tickets, for two adults and two children, cost £21.25 for an off-peak slot but ticket prices will vary depending on when you visit.

Standard, family, school and group tickets to Dinosaurs in the Wild can be pre-booked on the Dinosaurs in the Wild website and you can find all the price information too.

Dinosaurs in the Wild first launched in Birmingham last year before moving to Manchester - and it received rave reviews from people who have already experienced it.

One dinosaur enthusiast wrote: 'It was amazing. So realistic. Never been to anything like that before. Worth every penny!'

Someone else said: 'I won't give any spoilers but will say if you are thinking of going, do it! I would be surprised if you are disappointed.' While another wrote: 'We took our dinosaur-mad 6 year old. We were all blown away by this experience. So realistic and well thought out. Our son was completely immersed and believed the whole thing was real. Well worth the money.'

Several parents have suggested not taking anyone who is too young as they might find the experience a little overwhelming. Children aged five and above are thought to be at the perfect age but the site says they have had younger guests who loved their time.
