Danielle Lloyd reveals she thought she was pregnant with fifth child as she discusses gender assignment treatment
The mum already has four sons
Danielle Lloyd has revealed she thought she was pregnant with her fifth child, as she confirms that she will fly abroad to undergo gender assignment treatment.
The mum-of-four was recently hit with pregnancy rumours sparked by pictures where it looked she had a small baby bump, and after she was also pictured with a pregnancy test.
However, Danielle told OK! that while she did think she was expecting her fifth addition to her brood, it proved to be a false alarm and she's not pregnant.
'We did think I was pregnant. But I have polycystic ovaries and then endometriosis when I’m ovulating, which makes me swell up so I look and feel like I’m pregnant', she said.
The 34-year-old also spoke out about her wish to do gender selection so she can give her four boys a baby sister.
'We want to do gender selection. I’ve been honest about the fact that I’d really like a little girl', she told OK! magazine.
'I would regret it if I got to 50 and didn’t have a daughter, and I don’t want to have any regrets, so I’m going to do it.'

It's not the first time Danielle has addressed the controversial procedure, which is actually illegal in the UK. Back in December last year, the mum issued a statement which was read out on Loose Women by Andrea McLean.
‘I’m not sure why anyone would deny us this. I’ve always wanted a girl, I totally appreciate the fact that some women aren’t lucky enough to have children and might think I’m selfish,’ the statement read.
‘Michael and I will go abroad for gender selection, I don’t doubt that many celebrities do it, but not many people say it.’
The former Celebrity Big Brother star welcomed her fourth son with fiancé Michael O’Neill in September last year.
She was previously married to professional footballer Jamie O'Hara between 2012 and 2014, with whom she shares three sons - Archie, Harry and George.
