Line of Duty’s actor Daniel Mays ties the knot with Louise Burton
Daniel Mays shared photos of the picturesque wedding via social media.
Line of Duty star Daniel Mays tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Louise Burton on Saturday.
The couple share two children, Mylo and Dixie, who were pictured alongside their parents blowing bubbles while friends and family threw confetti behind them.
On Monday, Daniel posted photos of the special day on his Twitter page, saying he made ‘memories to last a lifetime.’
The 40-year-old actor told his 29,000 followers: ‘Got hitched on Saturday! With deep love and thanks to everyone who came to celebrate out magical day. Memories to last a lifetime X.'
Many fans congratulated the happy couple on getting married, including Daniel’s celeb pals including Declan Donnely, Gary Lineker and Rome actor James Purefoy.
‘Ah! Congrats. D x,’ Dec commented, to which Daniel replied: ‘Many thanks Dec! A special day. Hope this finds you well mate X’

Gary Lineker also congratulated the newlyweds, writing: ‘Congratulations’ followed by two thumbs-up emojis.
‘Well, congratulations to you both!’ added James, who also stars alongside Daniel in comedy flick Fisherman's Friend, out next year.
Daniel later shared a video of his 81-year-old uncle Jim also blowing bubbles at the wedding.
‘Meet my Uncle Jim,’ tweeted Daniel. ‘81 years young & still got that twinkle. One of my favourite vids from the weekend.’
The actor also shared photos of him and his groomsmen looking very sharp in three-piece suits provided by Saville Row’s Cad & The Daddy.
Thanking the tailors, Daniel wrote: ‘The Mays boys in all their glory. Huge debt of gratitude to @Canandthedandy for my stunning three piece wedding suit.
‘Exquisite tailoring that got countless compliments on the big day. Can’t thank you enough’
Daniel is best known for his role in the third series of BBC’s Line of Duty, where he played a Sergeant whose armed response unit were investigated by AC-12.
Daniel has also starred in films such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story an Made in Dagenham, and will star in an adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel Good Omens.
