Fans defend Dan Osborne after he's criticised for kissing his three-year-old daughter on the lips

Someone commented on the snap to say the kiss was 'inappropriate'

Fans have rushed to Dan Osborne's defence after he was criticised for posting a picture of him kissing his little girl on the lips.

The doting dad took to his Instagram account to share a sweet picture of him and his daughter Ella, where he's seen giving her a peck on the lips.

Alongside the cute picture, he wrote: 'Just put my little princess to bed. Can't believe she's three tomorrow! So crazy how grown up she's getting. Last night of being two! Love you so much darling.'

Many commented on the dad's post to gush about the 'lovely picture' and wish the Ella a happy birthday.

One said: 'It goes too quickly my youngest was 2 today!! Lovely picture', while another wrote: 'night night to Ella she's growing up fast'.

However, in a comment that has since been deleted, one user branded the father and daughter kiss 'inappropriate'.

Dan's fans didn't hold back and rushed to defend the 26-year-old, writing to say they didn't think the picture was in any way inappropriate, but instead a 'beautiful' moment between a father and his little girl.

'Bit inappropriate??? There's always one', a user commented, while another wrote: 'I guess you never got a kiss off your dad when you was younger? Nothing inappropriate about this picture. At least she won't grow up with daddy issues.'

A third person wrote: 'Inappropriate what is wrong with people. Please don't EVER have kids if you think this is inappropriate you weird deluded people! This is a beautiful picture of a dad and his daughter! Happy Birthday Ella.'

A fourth added: 'How could anyone see something wrong with this picture? Too many parents aren't in their children's lives and yet a man loves his child and it's deemed inappropriate. Keep loving your children @danosborneofficial they’ll be by your side forever while you do. Happy Birthday Ella xx'
