Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter is expecting his first child
But will it be a Backstreet Boy… Or girl?
In the best nineties pop news since the Take That reunion, former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has announced he is expecting his first child with wife Lauren Kitt.
The 35-year-old who rose to fame in the boy band, with hits such as ‘I Want It That Way’ and ‘As Long As You Love Me’ told Us Weekly that Lauren is already four months into her pregnancy.
The pair, who have been married since April 2014 have been trying for a baby for a ‘long time’ and are reportedly overjoyed at the news.
The New York native married his Californian beau in a ceremony in Santa Barbara last year, and guests said of the event; ‘They shared the longest wedding kiss I've ever seen... They seem crazy in love and thrilled to be married. You could feel the love bursting out of them.’
We hope that former bandmates, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell - who all already have families of their own - will be offering Nick tips on being a dad!
Lauren, who is a fitness expert, previously said about her relationship with Nick:
'You have to find someone that you love and that loves you just as much. ‘We can spend 24/7 with one another. I can't even spend that with my sister or my girlfriends, but I can spend 24/7 with him.’
