Amy Childs reveals that she wishes she wasn't a single parent in heartbreaking interview
Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has had a hard time raising daughter Polly alone
Amy Childs has spoken out about how she wishes she wasn't a single parent after she broke up with partner Bradley just six weeks after her daughter Polly was born.
The star, who said that she has experienced 'really tough' times as a single parent, said that she would 'love to have a partner who can help me out'.
'There are times when it's really tough,' said the former TOWIE star to OK! magazine.
'Being a mum is non-stop and sometimes it's really tough, but I have to remind myself that I'm doing a good job and that I just need to get on with things.
'I've also learnt that you become less selfish when you have a child, it's not all about you any more.'
Amy, who split with tree surgeon Bradley after she felt more like a 'mum and a friend' to her partner in June, has raised Polly single-handedly since.
Amy said that she is experiencing particular difficulties with her daughter at the moment due to her teething.

'Polly usually sleeps through the night, but she's teething at the moment so she's been waking up every hour.'
'It's times like that when I'd love to have a partner who could help me out or look after her while I have a bath,' she admitted.
'I get a lot of help from my parents as they live just down the road, but it doesn't replace what I'm missing in a partner.
'Motherhood is the best thing I've ever done, though – I have no regrets,' she added.
When asked about whether or not she would reunite with her former partner, the TV personality said that a rekindling is definitely not on the cards.
'Absolutely not. We get on better now that we're not together,' said Amy to OK!.
'We're never going to be best friends but we work together to do the best thing by Polly.'
