Viewers are not happy about this HUGE change that was made to This Morning
In honour of the launch of the Downton Abbey movie this week, Thursday’s instalment of This Morning was broadcast from none other than the grounds of Highclere Castle, the lavish location where filming for the period drama takes place.
As hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield sat on the sofa on the grass outside the stunning building, the pair began a morning of all things Downton, with the two hour show being dedicated to the new film.
It featured in depth interviews with the cast of the movie, a segment on how the cleaning staff dust the castle immense ceiling and even a chat with the in-house decorator.
Although, many regular viewers of the breakfast show were less than impressed by the unique take on the episode, with dozens taking to social media to complain.

‘I'm going to have to switch #ThisMorning over in a minute. For someone who does not like Downton it's pretty boring,’ one remarked, while a second added: ‘Don't actually like Downton so tuning out of the overkill today on #ThisMorning.’
Meanwhile, another seemed to be totally oblivious to the significance of the location, tweeting: ‘Please tell me that #ThisMorning ain’t gonna be from this place all day!! 😣🙄😣,’ before one more chipped in: ‘#ThisMorning is boring for people who don't watch Downton. We need some variety.’
