The former reality TV star moved in to Rio’s family home with his three children later that year, and became engaged in November the following year.
Speaking about becoming a stepmother, Kate told Daily Mail: ‘It is challenging but it’s just as amazing.
‘It was always going to be a hard job, it was never going to be easy but I love it and I couldn’t imagine life without the three children.’
