'I've had 5 kids!' Katie Price hits back after fans tell her she's 'going bald'
'I've had 5 kids stress last year and hair loss due to it'
Katie Price has hit back at commenters who suggested that wearing hair extensions had left her with 'bald patches'.
The mum-of-five uploaded a short video to her Instagram account to announce to her fans that she was opening her own beauty salon, and also revealed her shocking hair loss.
'Excited for the opening of my very own beauty salon and today checking out the software wioooo jumper from @bossladyboutiqueuk,' she wrote alongside the short clip.
However, some of Katie's 1.4 million followers overlooked her big reveal and instead chose to comment on the 'damage' that they claimed had been done to her hair.
'Wooowww look at the bald patch hair is damaged...' one wrote, while another added: 'You're going bald?!?'
'Look at what them extentions have dun to the side of your head!' a third agreed. 'Try to stay natural you look so much better with natural hair and it definitely won't get better it will get a lot worse an ur have patches all over your head! 😦'
However, ever-outspoken Katie wasn't taking the comments lying down, replying to one directly to say: '👏👏👏 I've had 5 kids stress last year and hair loss due to it so not extensions so thanks for the put down ! Your bags need doing under your eyes'.

Many of the mum-of-five's fans were also quick to jump to her defence, dubbing the original critics 'horrible' and 'jealous'.
'Aww take no notice of the horrible comments... jealously gets them no where 👍🏻 good luck x' one wrote, and a second posted: 'Unsure why so many 🐍 @officialkatieprice whatever you put your hands to, it works good on you!! Haters carry on hating as this pricey is doing a fab job doing what she is doing for herself and her family #rantover😜'
Another empathised: 'I think your hair looks cute in the top knot & it's just the way your hair is parted that makes it look a bit thinner in that area. Some people really need to get a life @officialkatieprice #ignore #sadtw*ts #pathetic 💋'
