Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ramsay is a multi-Michelin starred chef who was born in Scotland but grew up in a council estate in Stratford-upon-Avon. He has restaurants all over the world including the UK, France, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States. He’s a proud father-of-five and many of his recipes are particularly suited to if you’re entertaining for your family or a group of friends. Gordon initially wanted to pursue a career as a professional footballer but an injury led him to change career path and he took up a college course in hotel management. He trained with some of the world’s most renowned chefs including Albert Roux, Marco Pierre White and Guy Savoy and opened his first restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, in 1998. It quickly received the most prestigious accolade in the culinary world, three Michelin stars, and remains the longest-running restaurant in London to hold this award. Despite cooking and creating incredibly indulgent and delicious recipes, Gordon has spent a lot of time focussing on his health in recent years and lost an incredible 50 pounds. Gordon’s weight loss was all thanks to a shift in how he ate rather than what he ate. Instead of eating three big meals a day he has five small portions throughout the day. From occasion food like beef wellington, honey glazed ham and roast turkey to healthy takes on a full English breakfast and indulgent treats like chocolate doughnuts – we’ve got a Gordon Ramsay recipe for every situation!
