Clare Seal is the creator of the @myfrugalyear Instagram account, and author of Real Life Money, The Real Life Money Journal and Five Steps to Financial Wellbeing. She is also a mum of two with one on the way. In March 2019, Clare found herself struggling with a large amount of personal debt, with no assets or financial safety net. Since then, she has rebuilt her relationship with money from the ground up, quickly growing a community of 104k people on Instagram, authoring three books and writing for a number of national publications in the process.
